READING TORAH - day 35 MALCHUT sh b'HOD

PSALMS OF MY SOUL

Reading Torah ~ Enveloped in Splendor, Being in Gratitude

Malchut sh b' Hod
Kabbalistic Sephirat HaOmer - day 35

TORAH BLISS
First time I read Torah

(and every time)

At times
in shul,
whether I'm in a chapel or garden--
a sacred place of prayer,
Holiness infuses me with a palpable density of Hod.
The cantor carries me on wings of song;
rabbi teaches from the heart,
touching me;
 Congregation, too, reverberates.
Torah is alive;
flowing through me
revealed energy of Divine Presence.

 I have received
and I am fully with Light
enveloped in Splendor, Awe and Gratitude.
Delight ~
Malchut sh b'Hod.
Baruch Hashem

"Miriam the Prophetess, sister of Aaron, took her drum in her hand,
and all the women went forth after her with drums and with dances."

Joy wears the hand-ribboned tallit she designed
based on Reb Zalman Schachter-Shalomi's, z"l, Sephirot colors
and friend Ruth Zitch, z"l, wove in the ribbons
after removing weft threads. Joy fringed and knotted Tzitzit.
