MIRIAM HaNeviah, Miriam the
Prophetess
Do you share Miriam HaNeviah's Midot/attributes?
Do you share Miriam HaNeviah's Midot/attributes?
Miriam is a biblical
archetype of Chesed/Lovingkindness within Hod/Divine Glory. Of course, Miriam manifests herself also
within Gevurah, Tiferet and Netzach, and her Sephirotic energies
flow further into Hod, and then into Yesod and Malchut.
Miriam's neshama in Hod, Reverberates with wisdom and goodness in her leadership actions throughout
the Israelites' journey from Egypt to Freedom. She is a shining light and
understands the messages of Splendor that she receives from the Holy One, and
surrenders to what she must do to save her people with wisdom, being clever, kind, sensitive,
and with much love.
I like to think that my daily
actions are based in Chesed and Hod. That is my Kavannah in Gemilut Chasadim.
I honor Miriam HaNeviah as my model. It is obvious in my percussion playing as I serve
in joy, G*d and community.
On a regular basis I put
other's needs before my own, especially when I empathize with them. I say to G*d that I need more time to do my own
work, because I have helped others first while my chores were waiting, and I ask
G*d to help me. I give my gifts with love, and expect nothing in return. I
treasure the pleasure someone hopefully has from my art gifts. Usually I don't know.
I'm grateful when they do have joy, and I'm most grateful that I've had opportunity to do Mitzvot. An example is that I surrender into my own music offerings so that others can be elevated in their personal prayer. I move aside so that I am only a vessel that the Holy One can use to send energy through me to be helpful. This way, I hear some messages that I need to hear and act upon.

Today while in Chesed sh b'Hod, I created this card for a FB artist friend in Israel on Reb Shlomo's, z"l, moshav,
whom I have met for a few moments, also a potter, but she's working at it, and I acknowledge that she works in G*d's Splendor.
I'm grateful to connect with a ceramicist woman on Moshav Me'or Modiin, who also sees the beauty of nature, and clay.
