Loving Kindness Within Endurance

Love Climbs
© Joy Krauthammer

Sometimes we reach out easily with our heart and hands.
Sometimes we have challenges, rocks and boulders to climb in sharing our Chesed/Lovingkindness.
We catch the light to extend our souls, our generosity, and hope our love reaches the intended one with clear kavanah/intention.
Kindness, caring, generosity, compassion, empathy.
Love Within Endurance
beyond self.

In minutes, I leave with my beloved sister to extend our Love and kindness, to take out a cousin to celebrate her 80th birthday. Our cousin no longer drives, so instead of eating in her residence, we take her to a lovely new Mediterranean restaurant.

Later today I shall do my daily mitzvah/good deed and assist an elder 91 year-old beloved friend. Our Chesed is received and that feels good.

Hope you like the little purple flowers I photographed in a Chatworth garden, filled with boulders and delights. Don't know what the flowers are called, but they are cute against the solid rocks in which they nestle.

The digital red painted hearts I have altered to show the Netzach/struggle it can be to climb obstacles, boulders in life, to be all that is needed to be in all our relationships. I painted the red hearts to show my love as it sometimes can blur along the way, but is shared on the path.  Pretty pink purple flowers climbing rocks can be one beautiful outcome.
I share my love with YOU.  - Joy Krauthammer

Is there anything that matters more than our love, our Chesed?

Even this post is created Chesed sh b'Netzach.  With wanting to caringly share with you, I must strive in Netzach with many steps toward seeing, understanding, creating, processing, and presenting this finished written post (each day of 49 Omer days) filled with an illustrative Omer photo and my Sephirat HaOmer reflections leading towards Shavuot in a consistent disciplined and attractive style.

Edith and "Baby"
© Joy Krauthammer

Edith calls rescued Caty "Baby" because with Chesed she treats Caty like a baby. "You're my baby", says Edith in the high pitched voice saved for babies.

Caty has never been friendly, just taking (and living in Gevurah), and only in the last few weeks, following years of Edith's Netzach/striving in Chesed, wanting Caty to come close, finally Caty sat on Edith's lap!!! A victory for Edith. Maybe Caty witnessed the great grandchildren and a visiting dog happily sit on 93 years old Edith's lap as she gave loving-kindness. Edith has endured Caty's aloofness but never held back on her love, even with nasty cat scratches.
Amazing that on this 'photo op' day, that Caty allowed the close kiss.
Maybe Caty was feeling a bit needy after her hair cut. And her treats were given.
